DTBA is proud to have 4 members in their eighties playing badminton on a regular basis:

Activities: Plays Monday mornings social at MBC,
Tuesdays and Thursday mornings at the club
Wednesdays and Fridays at Manningham DISC
Saturdays plays Squash

Tips: Complements his healthy lifestyle with Vitamin C and other health supplements, lunches and coffee with friends, gets on his computer tablet for computer games. Sleeps early, still drives everywhere.

Member Name: Gwen Murray

Gwen was a regular Monday Night Competition player. Due to the competitiveness of the competition and her own mobility had deteriorated, she decided to call it quits.

She is still actively participating in the competition at Diamond Valley.

Gwen is a life member.

Member Name: Andrew (Andy) Brown

Regular player on Wednesday night social session and Saturday afternoon session.

Member Name: Barney Gan

Activities: Baby of the 80’s club. Barney was a regular Monday Night Competition player until a recent injury (Achilles Tendon) so will be out of action for a while. We hope to see him back in action in early 2016.
